One thing that this long winter does remind us of is how expensive it can be to heat your home, and pretty soon, the utility company will be able to pull the plug on people with large past due balances.  These heating bills can be especially difficult for people with low incomes to deal with.  However, help may be available...

Of course you "rent local", it is kind of hard not to, especially if you want to live there.  However, by renting an apartmernt that is locally owned, that money you pay in rent is much more likely to stay in the community.  In 2012, over $1,000,000 was put back into the local econonmy because our tenants chose to "rent local."

With the rains that seem to come every April and the sunny days that have been with us for a while now, our lawns are really starting to grow again.  The lawns growing of course means that our mowing season has begun.
