Although newly formed, the founder of HelpRent, Co. has been involved in investment real estate since 1993.

Focus on Rentals
Our focus is rental properties, that is all that we do and pride ourselves on doing it well.  We currently own/manage 139 residential rental units and nearly 15,000 square feet of commercial space.  All of these properties are under the control of HelpRent, Co. and not managed for someone else.

Staffed to Meet Your Needs
How we are staffed demonstrates our focus toward our rental tenants.  Our property management department focuses on the administrative needs of our tenants.

Our Field Service Team includes two employees to oversee the maintenance needs of our tenants.

John H. Fischer
John recently founded HelpRent, Co., but has been with Emmerich & Associates since 1993  (Most of HelpRent's properties were purchased from Emmerich & Associates, Inc.)  John oversees the day-to-day operations as well as being the liaison between the various departments.  He is also involved in non-residential leasing.

Sharon L. Fenske
Sharon and John had worked together for Emmerich & Associates for over two years.  She is in charge of our day to day administrative duties, including ensuring our tenants get their security deposits back in a timely manner as well as following up on unpaid accounts.  Sharon is an important person in the leasing of our units.  She is the one person that our tenants probably meet first, and know best.

Brian Kell
Brian has worked with John at Emmerich & Associates for over 5 years and knows our properties very well.  He is responsible for ensuring that our tenants maintenance needs are handled in a timely manner and done right the first time.  When you see Brian's white SUV outside of one of the properties, you know that he is there doing something for one of our tenants, be sure to thank him if you see him.

Dennis Fischer
If that last name sounds familiar, it is because Dennis and John are related, so there is no employee that John trusts more.  Dennis' main job is to ensure that the common areas of the apartments and offices are kept clean, and that the lawns are mowed.  When you see the clean halls & laundry rooms, thank Dennis.  He also helps Brian with maintenance as needed.

Jim Taggart
Jim has been with us for approximately 25 Years!  There is probably not a job in the company Jim has not done at some point in time.  However, these days he oversees our inventory of commercial and industrial properties and coordinates any subcontractors we may need for them.

Larry Hemauer
Larry has been actively involved in construction for nearly 30 years and has been building since his teens.  He has been a part of our team for over 15 years and oversees major renovation projects as well as new construction.
